Hello,
I am looking at getting an ADM side-by-side bar for my small refractor and camera with large lens.
Isn't the mount's saddle turned 90 degrees when that bar is used? I looked at my Sirius mount's menus and I couldn't find anything to tell it that I am turning the top 90*.
Am I overlooking something?
Thanks.

Undo the clutches, give it a 90 degree turn, tighten down the clutches, the mount will never know it was turned. We use the dual saddle adapter from kens rings on both of our mounts (eq6 and neq3, soon to be heq5) and it's never been an issue. We do alignments with the dual saddle in place, mount cannot tell the difference.

The CGE has micro switches that tell the mount you're at the Home position, but the Sirius doesn't have anything like that.
You can turn the saddle any way you want.
