Came across this Zeiss Abbe Ortho 4 mm 1.25" for 650eur(im not getting it, to expensive for me). Not cheap by any standard. I for one can appreciate the feeling of having a genuine Zeiss ep, but is it worth it in a sense that you can get two TV ep´s of the very best quality. Still i do consider the sheer feeling of having one of these ep´s very nice. The 10mm isn't multi-coated but rather has single MgFl coatings on each air to glass surface. The 16mm is multi-coated. The 10mm actually outperforms the 16mm by a hair. I´m considering getting a Huygens 16mm marked Jena, which should be Zeiss Jena i believe. Excellent sharpness and contrast but terrible eye relief. Someone warned me before I bought them that I'd be doing a lot of lens cleaning and it certainly can be an issue. I use my Pentax 5mm XO a lot more as it is every bit as nice an image, costs a lot less and has a smidge better eye relief. You could barlow it for really high power if 5mm is not enough. The 6mm Zeiss Abbe is another barlow compatible choice to reach 3mm but you are back in the megabucks area.
