I have a Skynyx 2-1m mono camera and was think I should breakdown and get some good filters and a wheel.
I'm considering these filters:

and this wheel:

Any reason these would be a bad choice?

If budget matters, I've been pretty happy with the Orion LRGB filters in the Orion wheel. (Don't believe the catalog picture of the filters: they're dichroic, not colored like in the photo.)

Jason,
I have used exactly that same setup with my SkyNyx2-0 for about a year now and they work well. The Orion filter wheel is a nicely built setup, very smooth.

It's a little confusing. I have seen references on certain vendor sites about Astronomik RGB Type II and Type 2c. Is there a difference? The price is exactly the same and the picture looks the same.
How much focusing difference are there between the different filters (Orion vs Astronomik)? Are all pretty much parafocal these days?

Mine are "close enough" to parfocal. I'll get the L as sharp as I can, then leave the RGB alone, mostly because I'm trying to shoot so quickly, and the difference is so small.
