With my 10inch I can see mottled edges, deep blue coloration and a second smaller oval portion in the center. No central star though. this is with 150x using a 8mm hyperion. What is everyone elses notes on the Blue snowball?

For the central star I'd use a lot more magnification than 150x. Four years ago, I failed to see it with a 8" Skyquest @ 386x and have not been able to spot it. I have the star listed as 13.2 magnitude but it is surely fainter / variable / too well inside the nebulosity.
The general shape is roundish, somewhat elliptical with a ring structure and a brighter arc in the center.

Sorry, my notes indicate that at 200x w/10" SCT no central star was seen.

In my 10 inch, the faint central star takes a *lot* of power (over 350x) and very good steady seeing to come out. Otherwise, it tends to blend into the bright glow of the interior of the inner shell. I have not seen it very often. The nebula itself appears as a nice bluish-green disk at low power, while at high power, it shows two nested oval ring-like features with the inner one slightly off-center and the outer one as more of an enhancement of the outer edge of the nebula. Clear skies to you.

That has been my experience as well. Unless the seeing's very steady, I do not see the central star of NGC-7662. On two occasions I have in fact seen the central star with my 10-inch during periods of excellent seeing, at 375X through my 3.5mm Orion Stratus eyepiece. It flitted in and out of view, it was faint and hard to make out amid the bright nebula all around it. The oval outer edge and the dark inner zone were also very noticeable.

I have had the same sort of issues with the central star, it is elusive...

Beautiful! A distinct light blue color is the first impression, bright! holds magnification well revealing a two shell structure, a bright round inner shell and a quite faint outer shell, no central void, no central star observed even at 350x

Fairly bright, slightly bluish disk, no other detail obvious, averted vision appears to show a star involved with the nebulosity but not centered, the edges of the disk are well defined
