Please recommend a low budget PocketPC software
      #2578569 - 08/13/08 09:55 AM

Hi

There seem to be many free/low cost PocketPC Planetarium software offerings out there, and I was wondering about your first hand experience with them. What do you like/dislike about them, how they compare to others, etc ...
The ones I've been looking at so far are:

1. Astromist
2. Pocket StarCalc
3. Pocket Stars

All three look pretty slick and sharp.
In addition, I just read in another thread here, that there's a new mobile version of Stellarium.

Thanks

"I don't know, I didn't listen!"

I also just now saw another free alternative - Tachyon -
looks very feature rich.
Anyone ever tried this one?

Yes I have Tachyon-- its a BIG program -- but it runs on my Dell Axim X5-- and there is a laptop component to communicates with the PDA-- install both components.
