Do binoculars need to acclimate (equilibrate) like scopes?

Binoculars are just two little refractors, semi-rigidly attached to each other. Refractors don't need to acclimate. They are however, susceptible to dew.

Well, actually the answer is that all optics need to acclimate. For some (refractors, binoculars) the acclimation period is negligible.

Even more so with binoculars. Poor acclimation really is only noticeable at high magnifications. As binos tend to be low-power instruments it would be hard to tell one way or the other.
