I want a decent pair of binos for astronomy and I was looking at this pair. I also do hiking and such so the waterproof is a big pro for me too. Does anyone have any experience with this model or a similar one and if so would they recommend them? If not is there another similar pair for under $200?

Wow thats an excellent review. I found it right after I posted this. I probably should have looked around a bit more before posting. I went to the store to pick up a pair and they were all sold out of the Pentax and I saw the Nikon action ex 10x50cf, which I see did well on your review, so I bought a pair of those. Skies are supposed to be very clear tonight and I'm super excited for first light. Just looking around the city with them, they blow my 7x compacts out of the water. Im heading out to dark, clear skies tonight and can't wait!
