80mm ED Vs EON 80mm ED new

Hello,I'd like to know what is the difference between 80mm ED Apochromatic Refractor and EON 80mm ED Apochromatic Refractor, I'll buy my second telescope but I need to be sure what is the best for my Canon 350D

The EON has slightly faster optics and a shorter focal length (f/6.2 vs. f/7.5 and 500mm vs. 600mm). It's marketed specifically toward astrophotographers because its focuser is dual-speed, lockable, and rotatable. It also has an extendable dewshield and comes with a case. And um...it's prettier. IMHO, you'll be happier with the EON for use with your DSLR.

The EON will be better but it's up to you whther it's worth the extra few hundred.

The EON is the same as the Skywatcher Equinox 80 (which I can vouch for....) and about the same price too.
