Was this taken during a lunar eclipse? My reason in asking is because of the ruddy areas above the gray, and yellow areas above the ruddy areas, before the white areas at the top of the image. It's just more color than I would expect in an unfiltered image of the moon, even with film. No eclipse involved. The image is a scan of a 5x7" color print. Any strange colorations are likely an artifact of the scanning or the original printing process.
