Hi all thanks very much for the help on what mount to buy. The EQ6 arrived today and it looks great.It really looks well built and I look forward to first light.Telescope House have found me a Losmandy DM10 plate for my 10” LX90 OTA so I should be able to get it all up and running by Friday,,,,Paul.

That's great news. I was so happy when I finally got up the nerve to strip my C11 off the CPC forks and mount it on a GEM. The scope, mount, and observer were all much happier.

Let us know how it all works out.
