New release of PICTools!
      #2595077 - 08/21/08 11:09 AM

Dear All,

I've just released on my website a new version of PICTools 2.0.1. No new features, but now PICTools has got a graphical interface instead of the command line one.
Using PICTools is now easier. Just select at first the .PIC files to work on and then select the desired action. At the present only simple convertion and 32-bit TIFF average are supported, but other features could be coming soon. I look forward for your feedback on the matter.

What is PICTools? It is an utility to conver .PIC files coming from IRIS into 16-bit per channel positive integers, in order to exploit all the dynamic range of our shot. Moreover, PICTools will provide 32-bit support for stretch and image stacking.

Hope you find it useful as I do.

Best regards
Nicola
