Mount for Classic Newtonian new
      #2592689 - 08/20/08 10:39 AM

Hello All,
I started observing with Newtonians back in 1965 and my Criterion RV-6 was superb. But, I moved on and now am pretty much a refractor buff. I have always wanted, if only for nostalgia, to own another classic Newtonian. Tah Dah!! I just purchased an Optical Craftsmen 8" F/6.5 OTA with rings. Any recommendations for a mount? Thanks for your thoughts.

JimP

I really like using my homebuilt 8" f/6 on my LXD75...
