Aristoteles

Work on the Swan had tired me and the skies were beginning to falter. The moon was so pretty that I picked a crater and started. Detail was incredible at the beginning but by the time I wanted to capture it, clouds had moved in. The screen was blank by the time I was forced to stop.

Roland,

I wished I could draw craters like you do.

Roland

Beautiful artwork! Very three dimensional in quality

Your sketch has inspired me to call the weather bureau to request that they stop the clouds and rain here!

I too was looking at the moon briefly though gauze-like clouds but reveling at the entire terminator including Aristoteles. By the time I set up to sketch, the clouds obscured it and it turned to rain for the remainder until I had to sleep. Perhaps tonight it will clear. I have stayed up till 3 AM to capture some of my sketches, then get up at 6 to go to work. I would not recommend this to others but my best work has been executed while I was on little sleep. (read: desperation and passion for artistic process)

Can we inspire others to do this within a reasonable hour?

I look forward to your next work!

Mark

Roland,

An excellent observation of Aristoteles and Mitchell. You have recorded these craters very nicely. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

Carlos

You can, Rony. That's quite a compliment from one who sketches so well. In this case, it was one I had to press to finish, but in pressing, it turned out OK. Roland

Thanks for the comments. My apologies for not acknowledging earlier...the password mess got me until today. Roland
