Hi all,
before the clouds interfered (transperency and seeing) I happily faced some minutes of fair seeing conditions.
Jupiter 18.4° above horizon.
Instrument: 8-in Newton.
The dark spot is Callisto in transit.

Hi all,
in addition, after the clouds had gone, I could do some further imaging but not in high resolution (seeing too bad). So, all 4 Galileian moons, including reappeared Callisto, were visible. From left: Europa, Callisto, Io, Ganymede

Hi Torsten, very impressive shots of the Callisto transit - and I especially like that widefield shot of the whole Galilean system! In focusing on the details, one actually nowadays quite seldom gets to see this kind of impressive catch of the Jovian system at its best!
Thanks for sharing!
Be well!

Exceptionally Great Work on the Transit Capture. Also Kudos, for capturing the Great Red Spot as It Was Beginning To Rotate out Of The Picture.
Great Capture on both of the images with the transit and the image with all 4 Galilean Moons Visible.

Anto, Timo, Todd many thanks to you all. I´m very happy, about your kind comments!
Although there are plenty of videos left from that night, yet I just don´t have enough time to process and update this thread. The new data from Aug. 24 are much more exciting.
Regards
Torsten
