Stabilized binoculars new

I am interested in purchasing a good pair os stabilized binoculars mainly for Marine use and secondary for astronomy. Does anyone here have any recomendations?

You're in luck. The recent threads on IS binos have been discussing dual use. If your principle use is Marine (looking for things in the water), I would suggest not going too high in magnification, so as to have a wider FOV.
The Canon 10x42 is waterproof. Some reviewers have liked the Fuji Techno_Stabis.

Yes, there are very few things that are ON the water. Mosquitoes and other bugs that glide across it. The rest are partially or totally submerged IN it.

I have heard several times over the years that the Fuji's are reputed to be better for marine use because of a difference in the way the IS system is tuned. That it is specifically idealized to be less likely to make you seasick.
