M13 My First Globular Cluster

I thought I posted this last night, but can't find it (I must never have actually posted it).

It has been way too long since I've had a chance to sit down at the telescope and draw. I finally got up the courage to try a globular cluster, and what better this time of year than M13. Not bad from my downtown backyard.

Aaron,

Great sketch of M-13 from Eugene. Your other sketches and photos linked are excellent as well.

Aaron

Excellent sketchwork of this difficult to render deep sky object. You are the first other local from my region that I have seen in Cloudy Nights. I like your other artworks in your gallery. Especially the Veil Nebula and the one lunar crater sketch.

I see you attended OSP (your gallery photos- Wow!, a 40 inch Dob!)- I have missed it for several years now after attending for eight years.

Welcome to CN! I look forward to your next artwork.

Aaron,

Great sketch!

Globulars can be very intimidating to render,
but you did a great job.

Aaron,

An excellent observation of the great globular cluster in Hercules (M13). As Rony points out, rendering globular clusters is not an easy task. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

Carlos
