Hold down the alt key. Then while holding the alt key down enter the number 167 and then let the alt key go.

Most of us just use the asterisk: 90*

That alt 167 combo didn't work on my keyboard, either.

Ron

Ok, I will try it that way. 90 Nope. Guess I'll try this. 90* Ah, that works. OK then, 90*00'00" Okay, that looks serviceable. Thanks.

I have a chance to buy a Celestron 4SE scope locally with its mount of course. I have a SV 102ed. Is it too big to go on that type of mount. Can I take the mount off and put it on my tripod? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Oh yeah, the SV102ED is way too big for either of the SE mounts. The smaller SE mount works fine for the 66mm ED's, and the larger SE mount works for the shorter 80mm's.

BTW all, I did figure out how to make the degree sign. Too much involved, so I'll stick to the asterisk.

And of course, the AT80EDT is gone. So is my AT66ED. Still have the two SE mounts, but the small one sees no use nowadays.

90º - Doug, the numbers must be input on the 10-key pad. If you're on a laptop then you should be able to shift in and out of a pseudo 10-key on the right side of your keyboard.

Hopefully that works for you!

Charlie

No, I found how to do it, but it's too much to do to get a simple character, so I'll stick with using the asterisk or simply writing "deg".
