I got lucky with a clear western sky last night, just beating out the rapidly-advancinig marine layer to catch Venus, Mercury, and Mars in a pretty triangle low in the west. About 30 minutes later, the fog swallowed the lower two...

Sorry to hear of your continued clouds. Hope you get a chance to see this one. Looks like they'll be together for a week or two yet if I read the astro mags correctly.

Well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad. I just couldn't pull Mercury out of the hazy sunset. According to K-Stars I should have been able to get all 3 in the FOV of my 100mm with my 35 Pan. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.
