Jupiter August 27 2008 HI *10 frame animation*
      #2613783 - 08/30/08 03:52 PM

Just post some images from a Jupiter session on August 27, 2008
Have 10 AVI's to process, the first 4 had kind of good seeing, But it got worse after that. I just did a quick processing on the first 4 and a friend of mine, Carey Johnson from the Hawaiian Astronomical association made an animated Gif.

Looks really cool.
Now I'm reprocessing the Avi's to get better results so the whole animation can be completed aswell.

I also post the finals seperately.
Taken with Meade 14" LX 200 and DFK USB camera.
Stacked around 800 images / 2662.
Will try to do better and use Pauls' Haize tutorial Thanks Paul !

Oooooooooo, that just a part of reseizing the frame, Since the capture was sideways I had to turn the images and thats the edge of the frames that you see, it's not a UFO or so.

great work, Freddy. too bad the seeing didnt hold up. those first few frames show some great detail.

that animation is a text book example of the erratic conditions that face us who pursue this hobby.
