I don't know if it can be viewed without registering with the Times website. He has a good 'light-pollution awareness/ offered solutions' movement going on LongIsland,NY. I E-mailed Phil to look at the: Sunday Buisness, page 4, NYTimes 8/31/08 top half page article. I certainly hope that light pollution is gaining public awareness. Even though we enacted tough legislation in my town of Brookhaven here on Long Island in 2006, and tightened it even further in December 2007, it's going to be difficult to enforce it.
