You should be able to get everything you need today.

The software, manual, and drivers (this is basically what comes on the CD) by going to SkyScout Downloads page. The software is simply the upgrade utility used to upgrade software and firmware to the SkyScout.

The cable is a basic USB A-B cable you can pick up at just about any store that sells anything related to electronics.

The case is very simple and is about the size of a travel shaving kit. It just has some Celestron logos on it.

Hope that helps you get the things you need to start using your SkyScout.

Thank you snowdragonusa..ill give it whirl with the software...that seems to be the key to the whole thing...i have used it already...seems to take a bit longer than i imagined to lock into the GPS satellites.

One more reply so we don't go too far off topic in the Swap N Shop forum... but after you get the update utility installed be sure to upgrade your firmware to the latest version. Also be sure to stay away from cars, houses, or any other large metal structures. GPS acquisition should happen with in 45 seconds or so. Otherwise the SS will timeout and ask if you want to enter things in manually or try again.

OK - No more info in the SNS forum.
