Well, compared to everyone else's, my effort is really quite amateurish, but I'll post it anyway.

Taken between around 10:30pm and midnight on September the 20th, South East UK, imaged through Phenix D102 600mm Achromat with Canon EOS 450D, Autoguided with Orion ST80 400mm and Meade DSI-C using PHD Guiding. Camera was set to take 25 2-minute exposures at ISO 1600, but sadly only four came out with just about no drift or error, so this was all I stacked in DeepSkyStacker, along with five dark files. Processed a little in Google Picasa.

(Hope this works...I've spent ages cropping and re-saving to get below the 100kb limit.)

Ok here's my image of NGC7635 and M52 taken on 9/23/08. 8 X 8 minute exposures were captured through a 6nm Astronomik Hydrogen Alpha filter using a QSI-532 CCD camera and a Vexin R200ss F4 scope on a G11 mount, auto-guided via PHD and a Meade DSI Pro II. Image acquisition was done in Maxim DL Post processing was performed in AIP4WIN and Photoshop CS2.

GOOD LUCK EVERY ONE

Bob

Here's my entry... Size is a little smaller than 800x800 to preserve image quality. The 100k file size limit is really constraining...

Captured 9/26/08 at ASKC Dark Sky Site
21 x 360 sec @ ISO 800
30 x 360 sec flats, 30 darks, 30 bias
Self-Modified Canon 350D / Baader UV/IR filter

PHD Guiding / DSI Pro / C-11 @ f/3.3 on a CGE mount

This is a central crop from the full frame, which is posted here in all it's glory: http://www.pbase.com/martyt/image/103911230/original
