Hi everyone! This morning was great for lunar observing. I love it when the air is steady AND clear! With the Denk II's in my Stellarvue 102ABV apo and a pair of 9mm Plossls for 175x, rilles were just everywhere! In no particular order, I spotted: Bond, Gutenberg, Cauchy, Hypatia, Hyginus, Ariadaeus, Hadley, Janssen (interior crater rille), Romer, Posidonius (interior), Bradley, and Chacornac (interior). That's a dozen rilles! (Well, 14 actually if I count Gutenberg and the Cauchy Twins as 2 each ) So, 14 rilles in one morning, do I have a record set here? Anyone else bag 12 or more rilles or similar structures in one viewing?

Afraid I can't answer that question. Seems that whenever I see that many cracks in the Moon, I get myself all rilled up and lose count.
