Jupiter was imaged with a Sony H7 Digital camera with an afocal adapter from CNC supply on a 40mm eyepiece.

The moons were imaged with a DSI-pro. 1X 60 second sub.

Combined in photoshop. I used a layer mask to remove the over exposed Jupiter in the DSI layer.

This image was captured from my home in Satellite Beach Florida at 11:17 pm EDST on 7/10/08. I used a Vixen ED 103S refractor and a Takahashi EM-11 Temma II Jr mount. I shot the image at f/23.1 with a 3X Meade Telenegative Barlow and a Philips PCVC 740K TouCam. The image consists of 397 of 932 frames from an AVI shot at 15 fps. Image was aligned and stacked in Registax 4.0 with color balance, resize, and smart-sharpen performed in Photoshop CS3. Satellites from left to right are Io, Ganymede, Callisto and Europa. I took my first ever astro-image on 8/26/07.
