This is actually my third MySky. The power button stopped working on the first one (took back to REI where I bought it). The sound died on the second one (sent back to Meade). The sounds as now died on my third one as well! Alas, I do NOT want to send this one back to Meade primarily because it always finds the GPS and it is dead on accurate. That said, the descriptions are one of my favorite features of the MySky. When I try to fire up the descriptions, I get a brief clicking noise and then nothing. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a fix short of sending this back to Meade? Advice/experience anyone would be willing to share would be most appreciated. Thanks! A couple of days ago when using my MySky, I dropped it a short distance. I assumed all was lost. However, the volume buttons that previously did not work suddenly became functional (unjammed?). Now, the sound is once again working. I do not recommend this fix for anyone with a similar problem. I think I just got extremely lucky.
