Two Jupiter Observations–20080901 and 20080903 UT
      #2621127 - 09/03/08 11:03 AM Attachment (50 downloads)

I have been quite lazy this year when it comes to sketching, however, the seeing conditions the last few days have been so good for this area that I've been out the last 3 nights.

A few nights ago I did a sketch using my C-8 and last night I did one using my Nexstar 11. Last night I was just planning to observe, but the detail was so abundant that I felt compelled to pull out the pencil and paper again.

Very nice. I've been using the same EP in my 9.25 that you used in your 11 GPS.

Very nice sketches of the king, thanks for posting, i see you drew the dark condensation trailing the grs, i wonder what will happen when they cross paths.

Thanks dfell, Mike and Tommy5.

Mike - Those BO/TMB planetaries do quite well in the SCT. It rare that I get sharp enough views at that mag due to seeing.

Tommy5 - Regarding the dark condensation, I was surprise to see it. Based on the past, I can only guess the GRS will win that battle.
