Here is my entry. M27: 8" F/6 on a CG5-GT mount with a Meade DSI Pro 1, 138- 15 second subs taken on August 23rd 2008 around 1:00 am from my deck in NJ.
Scott Mitchell:

Shoot I'll throw one in too so that there's at least more to choose from. M63 on an 8" LX90 using a DSI Pro with a .5 focal reducer. 36 subs for total of 9 minutes exposure. Taken back in May from a nice and dark state park in south Georgia.
Richard A Scott:

M27 from the 28th Imaged through my C-11 at F/3.3 or so using the original Orion SSDSI I used two focal reducers in tandem. An F/6.6 SCT reducer and an F/5 nosepiece reducer. A stack of 35 60-second exposures, dark subtracted. Auto-guided through an ED80 using a Meade DSI Pro and PHD Processed through Nebulosity using its colors in motion routine, and a bit of Photoshop as well.
fishmagnet:

NGC 7635, the Bubble Nebula, imaged at Camp Zyxlor (Zi-lore) in St. Cloud Florida on 8/13/08. Captured with my Vixen ED 103S refractor and Takahashi EM 11 Temma II Jr mount and SBIG ST-10E CFW-8 CCD camera. Five exposures each in LRGB unguided at three minutes for a total of one hour. Aligned, darks subtracted and combined in MaxIm DL4. Levels, curves, layering and sharpening applied in Photoshop CS3.
Jerry3672:

This is M8 taken with a Canon XSi 450D unmod. single 2min sub. LXD 75 SN8 Unguided.
NyxAither:

Here is my shot of the August 16th full moon. I used a dobsonian mounted xt8i and an SPC900NC to take 63 shots of various parts of the moon. I used a mosaic software to create this image. It's my first lunar mosaic so I can't wait to do another.
Many thanks to all who took part in the contest!
Please note that voting will conclude on September 8th.
