Looking for USB weather & battery monitoring new
      #2623646 - 09/04/08 02:05 PM

Hello All,

For my mobile equipment I am looking into integrating weather station and battery monitoring into a single nice and small package. As I have my laptop along something with USB would be ideal.

What I am looking for would be some sort of ready made USB microcontroller eval board where just a sensor and divider resistors need to be added for the voltmeter function. Sensor should be for temperature and preferably dew point. Something like this:
http://www.sensirion.com/en/01_humidity_sensors/06_humidity_sensor_sht75.htm

I have found this eval board for Atmel;
http://www.digikey.com/scripts/us/dksus.dll?Detail?name=AT90USBKEY-ND

But I think it's too big and clumsy. With USB integrated into the microcontroller the whole thing should almost fit into the USB plug. Just have the wires to the battery sticking out.

Any input or suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks,
Gert
