Has anyone heard from Hubert yet? He was going to try and stay and ride Ike out and I'm worried about him.

I would assume, knowing what happened down there. Posting up on a forum is way down the list.
I have hopes CN member were not to close to the coastline. The infustructure sure took a hit down there for sure.

My folks live down that way (near Houston) and I just heard from them yesterday. They said most of the power is still out and the only phone service is via cell.. and that is spotty.
So I would suspect that Hubert may have difficulty getting online.
