Telescope Reviews: Orion SVP Dec. motor problems??

I have a simple Orion SkyView Pro mount with the daul axis motor add on. It has the Orion handheld controller for the Dec. and RA. motions. I have a problem with it and I would like to see if any body here on C.N. has had a similar eperience. My RA. motions are correct in both directions but my Dec. motions move the motor in the same direction. I am an electical/electronics person by trade and I hooked up the handheld controller at work on my O-scope and found the pulses coming out of my handheld to be working correctly on the Dec. axis. The pulses changed accordingly (a lead b in one direction and b lead a in the other direction. I have not checked my motor out yet but it is in my suspect to be damaged. Has anybody else had this problem with the dec. axis moving the same direction with either dec. button pressed.
