Taken from my light-polluted backyard with an Orion ST120 achromatic refractor, and Meade DSI Pro II. This is 20x120-seconds guided with the Orion SSAG and processed only in Envisage and PaintShop Pro. I wish I could expose longer but I've found out that on most nights I'm limited to 2 - 2.5 minutes exposure (sometimes less). This is without filters of any kind. Any suggestions as to what filters would be beneficial from a site such as mine?

WOW!!! Very nice!! Guiding looks perfect and the detail is really great! As far as filters I have heard the IDAS LPS filter is about the best. If you want a less expensive option I have heard the Orion Skyglow is also a good one. Great job!

Nice image!!
I had problems with this target too. Most of my LP is to the south. Your image has the same black spots/streaks as mine does. My exposure times were much shorter and unguided I think 15 or 20 seconds.

Thanks!
I think those spots are cold pixels? They could be removed with processing but I was lazy.
