That one's just like mine - and the "genius" used tape on the OTA because the cap falls off otherwise (although the tape I used didn't damage the paint.)
I'm putting mine up for sale shortly...it should be mentioned there's no Dec drive, and the RA is 120v. Strangely enough, mine came with both the .965" and 1.25" visual backs, and a diagonal for each...the EPs are absolutely awful, though.

Keeping mine. Roger Tuthill made a bolt-on dec motor for me in 1989. It drives the tangent arm knob using an o-ring. Goes on and off in seconds. I've got an Orion Accutrak that runs on 120 or 12 volt car current to drive the motors. It has a joy stick for fine control.
Here's the dec motor:

You're being facetious. But you've probably never seen one with a Tuthill declination motor, and of course you never will again. Roger, rest in peace. A great man.

Erik's not being fasetious - he's just a real young un'!
A lot of CNers don't go back to the Good Old Days..I have a vintage (c.1981) C5 with the usual (for then) stuff, but mine only has the Tuthill Knobs and not the extra Dec goodies!

I don't think Tuthill advertised the dec motor. I had called him about it and then went out to see him in Mountainside, NJ. He took my scope down to the basement and half an hour later had drilled and tapped two holes in the fork arm and rigged up the motor. I also have the counterweight set, useful when I put my binoviewer on the C5.

I have the C/W set, too...they must be rare, because I was offered $75 for it...
