Whoa all of his work is quite good and there are those special few pictures that really blew me away.

I particularly liked the "On the Moon, Some Day" section. I'm probably partial to this section do to the subject matter more than a specific artistic deliniation from the other sections. There are however quite a few others from each of the sections that I like just as much. Including the section of portraits of people gazing at the night sky (not sure of the english name of that section).

There are a few pictures that seem a little less detailed to me. I can't tell for sure though, and would need to look at higher quality reproductions to really see what was going on. Maybe he did this on purpose.

The are also quite a few pictures that seem to almost jump to life. I can't quite deceide if I'd rather they make that realistic jump or stayed as they are, holding true to a more traditional paint and canvas look.

The subtle lighting and glow of the Full Moon picture makes it shine with that artistic-realism effect. While Space Station seems to have a slightly more anime type look. These two similar but different looks can be molded togather, and in some computer assited anime they make extremely viberant and yet still humanisticly artist worlds. A good example of this is the recent remake of Metropolis.

I also want to congradulate the web designer and/or Kagaya for the was the page's backgrounds and artwork is worked into the display. Oh, and I guess I'm a sucker for glowing text This site makes me glad i'm not color blind

After a closer analysis I believe it is use of lighting that makes the difference between many of the pictures I like and the ones that I impersonally consider well made. Some of the pictures have a flatter sense of lighting, while some shine. The shine helps to direct the viewers attention and make the overall image more dynamic and less cluttered.

I am however a very open minded person and can find unique and beneficial qualities in any design scheme, and can enjoy any of these pictures.

I wonder how much they sell for btw. It probably says but I falling asleep here so it'll have to wait till tomorrow. Plus then I'll get to hear from James and maybe Margin:) I don't wanna get too far ahead of the gang.

Goodnight to whomever is listening...

Also, in Hong Kong, I can find a lot of Kagaya's picture puzzle, 1000 pieces, sold about HK$300( about US $38.46).
Just share. ^_^
