Post your image of NGC1435, a nebulosity surrounding Merope in M45, here. Post any comments on these images in Rules and Comments. Submissions shall close at Midnight EDT on October 31st. Please submit only one entry.
If you have submitted and entry and want to change it, first try the edit function. It is available for three days after the original post. After that please PM one of your moderators.
[Tip: There were significant changes to the rules beginning with the July 2008 contests and again in August 2008. It would be a very good idea to check the Rules and Comments thread, the link is above.]

Here is my first ever attempt at a DSO. I hope it is NGC1435.
Shot with a Canon 40D prime focus through a Sky-Watcher Equinox 80ED unguided. 18x60sec ISO 1600 stacked in DSS. 100% crop to just get the target.

My attempt after several set backs in the last month while I try to get back into imaging (blew up the mount, blew up the laptop, replaced both and spent 2 days just getting them to work!!)
14 x 600 secs at f=388 with ATIK16HR in glorious mono. Weather was pants too - dew, rain, cloud. The usual but good to be back!
