Good work. Keep trying.

My avatar was created with the ETX-125, Phillips web cam, 2x Barlow, and Registax 4. I don't claim this is the best that can be done with this system by any means, but at least it gives you an idea of what can be done so you can strive to improve your technique.

Keep working at it!

thats a beautiful shot in you avatar lee!

jupiter is on its side like that because i turned the camera. a little light turns on on the webcam and i can't turn it off, i could but can't find how. the light shines in my eye when looking in the top eyepiece so i turned it. just to let you know!

Hi,

For the first one I would recommend during processing in Registax to click the RGB align tab and move the blue channel around. You will be able to see the blue fringe on the bottom move until it disappears.

You might also want to just put a little piece of electric tape over the light to not make it as much of a problem.

Have you not covered up the light? I blacked it out as soon as I got the webcam. I always make sure to turn it off when imaging because there's a chance some of the light could be reflected into the CCD sensor.
