I've been working on my guiding and working with longer exposure times. This image is a combination of 11 3 min subs and 34 2 min subs. The 2 min subs were from last night (early this morning) I used a shorter exposure due to moonlight pollution.
I also did some color subs, but I think they need longer exposure times to get more accurate color. I didn't have time to get green so I synth it in PS. The Red and Blue were 2min 49.7 sec subs.

You drew out a lot more detail this time. I like the B/W one the best.

Thanks Josh! I like the B/W one better too. I'm not fully satisfied with it though. The color needs more time and work. The red and blue was about 30 min total each.

The color is hard on this one.. it's peculiar for some reason. I tried once in color and wasn't brave enough to try again yet lol.

I'd also agree that the B&W version is better. The details are quite sharp.

Thanks for the replies. I tried re-processing the color image. I think it came out a little bit better, not perfect, but better. I'll have to wait for darker skies (new moon) to try this target again.
