It has 52 pounds of CW and it's well balanced. I have taken two photographs without issues.

I suppose this qualifies as a Cat (Tak CN-212 Newt/Cass combo - please disregard the refractors) when in Newt mode with the coma corrector installed...

Hi all,
here my newly accuired C11. Not many chances to observe & image with it fow now, clouded out for weeks
My trusty GM8 carries the C11 much much better than expected. Of course it's at maximum load with this cat, but works brave for visual and webcam work.
Best wishes & clear skies, Oliver

Seeing that makes me feel a lot better about having a C11 on an EQ6.... I was worried about the weight on the EQ6, but if a GM8 can hold it, the EQ6 will be fine!
ps - Looks great!

The mount is an old Meade LXD750. They were never popular; I think most folks haven't seen one. Folks don't generally like them, but I do.
