Hi Matty,

Wasn't that amazing? They say it was somewhere between the size of a chair and a desk and probably weighed about 1 to 10 tons on reentry. I don't know if anything survived to hit the ground, but it's possible. This certainly wasn't something the size of a pea that completely burned up.

It seems that pieces of that meteor have been found. There's an article on www.universetoday.com about it. Possibly thousands of fragments over a 20 square kilometer area. I wonder which town these meteorites will be named after?
