Ron,

I am working on that as I type,

We will be having a public viewing session on Saturday night,at the college. I am working on getting some people together both from the club and from C.N.ers . So please feel free to bring a scope or two to add to the event. The college as well as the club will be promoting it.
As it is the INTERNATIONAL YEAR of ASTRONOMY what could be better than OUTREACH!

Alan

Alan

Alan,

Thanks. I should land at Suffern around noon on Friday. If you need any help, just let me know.

Ron

Who needs stimulus packages when you NEAF 2009.

Can't wait (or constrain my enthusiasm).

Should we invite the CEO of AIG to come, he has lots of money to give away.

I am planning on making the 3hr drive from RI on Saturday. Lets hope the old car makes it. Can't do both days, but hope to meet up with some fellow CNers and go home with an extra item or 2 in the car.

Was very surprised that William Optics will not be a vendor this year. Hope they are truly OK.

Hi Alan,

If the night sky vendors would set up at night like the solar vendors during the day, folks would get a better idea of what the products can show or not show.

Great idea, except we still need time to sleep.

Sleep is darn near non-existent when your working the show anyhoo.. I'm usually "stick a fork in me" done by 11-11:30 at night.. Although I HAVE been known to nod off, beer in hand, at the "NEAF Knights" table..

Fortunately, Di never got a shot off on me doing it..

It would be nice, but I have some meetings in Norman Thursday before NEAF and then go straight to set-up on Friday Noon. Maybe something can be worked out next year. Thanks for the invite though.
