Stellarvue 20x85mm Binos Arrive!
      #281157 - 12/14/04 01:04 PM

The 20x85mm arrived on time today just before lunch. They were double boxed, bubble wrapped and peanuted just like the SV63. The case was just like the SV63's case, but much wider. The objective end caps fit snug and were the same style as the SV63. Same EP covers as the SV63, separate, but bridged together. Coatings looked smooth and consistant. The objectives were seated further back from the front of the barrels than the SV63. The center bracing hardware looked very much like my Obie 20x90s but might have a larger base on the centerpost and on top. I didn't have time to check. I'll post pictures later.

I am glad that they arrived. I'm sure you were eager to have them finally....especially with the SV63 flap you experienced lately.

I'm very glad to get a hold of them finally in one piece. You never know when something might show up with dual tire tracks on the box. But so far UPS hasn't broken anything I've ever ordered. A one day delay is pretty minor. They were only two weeks past the original due date when I ordered them back in early September. SV keeps a page on their website as to when product will start shipping and post notices on the SV Yahoo forum. Delays happen for various reasons and they keep the customer informed. I appreciate their customer service, in addition to their product's excellent build quality and prices.
