In my years at Mt Wilson Observatory, 1999 to 2007, I was privy to a lot of historical artifacts that were not visible to tourists and weekend hikers. Here is one that I found to be quite amusing, found stenciled to an old door at the workshop. It is worn with missing letters, but I think most of us will get the sentiments of the message. For a short time the two observatories were under the same management umbrella. Now MWO mismanages itself by a college clear across the continent.

That's a funny picture. I can see Mt. Wilson above the city from my house and my office. I often visit the Tower Cam image, they've had a bit of snow.
I also can see Palomar from my darker skies site, the dome is about 10 miles south of Lake Riverside. A bit of snow in that area too.
