I was just taking a closer look at the updated specs on OPT's web site. It still sounds pretty neat and the few details of the mechanical design elements look good, but I did notice the latest picture shows it mounted as alt/az only, which doesn't really surprise me. I think if someone were looking for a top-shelf imaging platform those are available in other scopes, this one is still shaping up as a very interesting gadget scope (which could be a lot of fun if you're in to gadget scopes).

Arthur,

Well thats interesting, makes it very similar in price all over the place.

Similar? As usual, the dollar sign in front of the price has just been changed to a pound sign. Ridiculous if you axe me.
