It worked fine for about a year then one time a tremendous wind storm came through and ripped the shed apart. So the name Windy Ridge Observatory was born. I thought of local landmark names, like "The Cedar Creek Obs." or "The Barnaget Bay Obs." but they seemed a bit too hokey and I wanted something original. I was at a loss .... until my son came home from college. The first weekend he was home a bunch of his friends came over to party a little. I was on the computer cranking out tunes when I hit the Credence Clear Water Revival folder and played "Bad Moon Arising"! That was it ...
