Zeiss Asiola 26x63 scope, mount, tripod RECEIVED

The focuser holds the oculars with a friction fit and a little grease. Unfortunately the two 4mm 0.965" orthos I have on hand will not come to focus, however 6mm will. The star test at 70x appears excellent, and at F7 the color abberation of the achromat appears much better than typical contempory spotting scopes.

Unfortunately, the azimuth motion of the simple pivot mount (similar to the current SV, WO, etc., mounts that have become popular) has an unacceptable amount of stiffness. I am communicating with Scope City about a fix. The altitude axis is slippery smooth, and there are of course locks on both axes. Turns out the azimuth axis is bone dry, no grease, not just dried out, never was any. Anyone recommend a grease?

The scope came without caps, anyone know if that is normal for Zeiss?
