apo lenses on ebay by great-eye seller
      #2902847 - 02/02/09 12:15 AM

I haven't found any posts here about a seller on ebay that sells apo lenses from China. Their username is "great-eye".
They have had listed before an 80mm triplet in an aluminum cell for $260. And mentioned having larger sizes as well.
I contacted them on this and was told:
"The 3.5" F/7 price is $480 each.
The 4" F/7 price is $730 each.
All are triplet FPL-53 super APO,zero false color!!"

Has anyone tried one of their lenses, or have any experience with these folks? Their rating is 100% and the feedback on ebay is all complimentary, but I wonder if those comments come from one who has really used the lens or just thinks it looks good coming out of the box? Do you know what I mean?
So - anyone have anything to say about these guys and their lenses?
Thanks - Tim
