How to deal with the this situation?
      #2926747 - 02/14/09 04:46 AM

I'm glad to be here to get more imformation with everyone!
This is my first time to talk here.(Have i founded the right place?)
My school will hold an activity to propagandize astronomy like the 100 Hours of Astronomy. To let the people enjoy the sky with some telescopes. But you know, weather in spring changes so fast. So how to deal with this situation:

The activity has just begun. The people have waited for a long time. The queue is long but the weather become worse and worse. How to solve this problem?
Please give me some advice or share your experience.
Many thanks!

Well, we always anticipate to the weather by organising also an indoor activity at the same time, like an exhibition with pictures, some telescopes,... and a few guest speakers that can entertain the people. Th guest speakers tell people why we like astronomy, how a telescope works, something about spaceflight, often a few workshops like ATM or mirror making...

Oh thanks! But we were just a school group which wants to hold a small activity so we just can hold it outdoors.(Though we will be sponsored by a telescope factory)
I found that i may ask it in the wrong place...This is ATM...
But still many thanks to your answer!
