Since seeing conditions were poor for the moon Thursday, I decided to try my LPI with my scope instead of using SLR lenses. Inspite of a nearly full moon, and a poor polar alignment, the images turned out better than I expected. The more I use the LPI, the more potential I think it has.---Steve

Nice image. I adjusted the levels in Photoshop and you actually caught quite a bit of the nebula.
