Apparently I needed to download a plugin for cartes du ciel to use with ascom . So I downloaded the plugin and I have a Ascom.tid file that I don't know how to get going. Can anyone give me some advice to open this file and get it working with CDC. Thanks in advance . I have found Ascom.tid in the 'Program Files\Ciel' folder on my machine. Just copy it there. You will still need to download the ASCOM platform from ascom-standards.org and a driver for your mount.
