How does a AAG cloudwatche work?

It is similar to a Boltwood. Relies upon IR sky temperature measurement and comparison to ambient temperature. It also has a conductivity meter to sense rain. Monitored via serial communications.

I have one. It works fine. Very attractive alternative to the Boltwood
