Was wondering if this item works with the LXD75 and if it is worth trying to find and what would be a reasonable price.

I'm told that later firmware revs make the LXD75 compatible with the obsolete APM909 adaptor. If that's true, and if you can find an APM909, then a 201XT should work. I've seen the 201XT sold for $50 to $200 on Astromart. A 208XT would be heavier but might be easier to find for not much more money - and you'd have the option of adding a laptop for occasional use as a CCD imager.
